Skillgine AI Use Waiver and Trainee Acknowledgement

1. Purpose

I understand that Skillgine provides Microsoft Copilot and AI training to help participants use AI tools more effectively, ethically, and responsibly in business and workplace tasks.

I understand that Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools are designed to assist with tasks such as drafting, summarising, brainstorming, organising, analysing, and improving productivity. They are not replacements for human judgement, professional advice, or final decision-making. Microsoft guidance also notes that AI-generated responses may not always be accurate and should be reviewed and verified before use. 

2. Trainee Responsibilities

By participating in this training, I acknowledge and agree that:

AI output must be reviewed.
I am responsible for checking, editing, verifying, and approving any AI-generated content before I use, publish, submit, send, or rely on it.

AI can make mistakes.
I understand that AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, misleading, or unsuitable for my specific situation.

I will protect confidential information.
I will not enter private, sensitive, confidential, client, employee, financial, health, legal, proprietary, or regulated information into Copilot or any AI tool unless I am authorised to do so and my organisation’s policy allows it.

I will follow workplace policies and laws.
I am responsible for following my employer’s privacy, security, confidentiality, compliance, acceptable-use, and data protection policies.

I will not use AI for harmful purposes.
I will not use AI to mislead, impersonate, discriminate, harass, manipulate, create fake information, violate privacy, bypass security, or produce harmful, offensive, illegal, or unethical content.

I will respect copyright and ownership.
I will not use AI to copy protected content, misuse another person’s work, imitate brands or creators without permission, or create content that may violate intellectual property rights.

I will keep a human in control.
I will not rely only on AI for legal, financial, HR, medical, tax, cybersecurity, safety, regulatory, hiring, firing, performance, or other high-risk decisions.

3. Skillgine Training Limitation

I understand that Skillgine provides training, examples, templates, prompts, demonstrations, and educational guidance only. Skillgine does not provide legal, financial, medical, HR, tax, cybersecurity, regulatory, or compliance advice.

I understand that Skillgine is not responsible for:

• My use or misuse of Copilot or any AI tool during or after training.
• Business decisions made using AI-generated content.
• Unverified, inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate AI outputs.
• Confidential information entered into AI tools by me or my organisation.
• Losses, claims, disputes, damages, or legal issues resulting from my use of AI tools.

4. Acknowledgement and Consent

I confirm that I have read and understood this form. I agree to use Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools ethically, safely, professionally, and responsibly.
